Giving your troubles to God.

In our world we will be faced with so many struggles and so many fears. There are many things like exams, assignments, friend problems, family problems, death of loved ones and many more. There is these 2 verses that can help you because they helped me!

Philippians 4:6-7
Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the centre of your life.

Give all your worries to God because there is no problem too big for him:)
Think about this:
Gods faithfulness to all his children, including you.

Gossip.

hey bloggers,
One thing that I am learning from at the moment is Gossip. We have has speeches this week and one of the topics was gossip. Today one of the girls in my class did her speech on gossip. It really hit me as I have beem reflecting on it for the past week of what gossip actually is. I always thought "No I am never going to gossip." but now looking back at this year it is amazing at how easily you fall into the trap. But gossip isn't just telling someone someone elses secret, it can be as small as saying o did you hear about those two are going out, or did you hear she dumped him. It is hard to never gossip, but whether you have spread gossip or had gossip go around about something about you, its not nice.
One really important thing to remember, is will this hurt someone if it got out. and also why am I saying this and who is this going to benefit? Also pray! Pray when you need help! Pray when you need forgivness! Pray when you are being hurt!

mission trip.

hey bloggers,
I have recently gone on a mission trip with my youth group. I had an absolute ball serving God and making new friends. We went ti Minden and we ran a bible school for kids who's parents have to work. It was called vbs (vacation bible school). The main topic was Super Heroes, and the action points were... 1. super heroes fight against evil and stand up for right 2. super heroes help others and 3. super heroes look to Jesus. It was a eye opener to the kids but also to us as a team. Jesus is the real superhero who loves!
This trip has really grown me in my faith, I am so much closer to my super hero... my best friend... and my God!
Remember god loves you... so smile :)

Day 4.

hey bloggers,
When I was going through my room, I found this book that I got from a great friend. This is a devotional magazine. It is the full new testament for girls. Its full with some really good stuff!
Anyway, looking through it... I remembered these amazing little grey sections on every second or so page. It is a bible verse, but in toady's language!
Today, I was challenged by a girl from school. She has been going through a pretty hard time. I didn't want to put pressure of God on her. But I know that it is very important that I do.
I think that this verse is really good, for not only her but all of us.
No matter what you are going through... if you let Him, God will take away your stress and pain!
This is the verse....
B tuff & brave. Don't B fraid, coz d lord yr God wl b w/u evrywhr u go
Translated...
Be tough and brave, Don't be afraid, cause the lord your God will be with you everywhere you go
It is also saying that God will and is with you everywhere you go... whether it is to get a drink or jump off a bridge! He's there :)
That's all for today, have a great day :)

Day 3.

hey blogger's,

Have you ever looked at your self side on in front of a mirror?

Looking at your stomach wondering whether you are thin, normal or fat?

Then you look down at you legs and see if they are too wide?

Or at the tiniest things like your neck or arms... your butt?

When you compare your self to girls who are to thin, or super models do you feel sad?

I know that before you reach this age, you hear of teenage girls who do go through a stage of anorexia and you say to your self "I will never be worried, or get to that stage."

... but when you reach that stage you forget that little promise you made?

Does that sound familiar? Of course, it happens to everyone!

Just remember though... God made only ONE of you... perfectly! whether you have a bit of shape, or you are as thin as a twig! If you ever think no one loves me or I'm to fat you're mistaken! Someone once told me that we have to think of ourselves as V.I.P's of God! He never judges us! He looks at our outward appearance and thinks, wow, they are beautiful!
Next time you are down... remember

Psalm 8:5
For you made us only a little lower than God, and you crowned us with glory and honor.

That's all for today, Have a great day :)

Day 2.

hey bloggers,
I'm sitting on the beach... reflecting on God's amazing creation.
Well actully im sitting at home... wishing I was. Looking out at the sky and seeing only clouds, thinking of tihs one Bible verse that helps me get through pretty much every problem.

Hebrew 12:1-2
A huge cloud of witnesses is all around us. So let us throw off everything that stands in our way. Let us keep on running the race marked out for us. Let us keep looking to Jesus. He is the author of faith. He also makesi t perfect. He paid no attention to the shame of the cross. He suffered tgere because of the joy he was looking forward to. Then he sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
To me this verse is saying...
We always have people around us who are judging us and seeing how we behave. Get rid of anything that you think will destract you from having a good relationship with Jesus. Keep living your life how God would want you to.

Remember that the only way to always be happy, is through God. He takes away all your stress and problems... if you let him!
That's all for today... have a great day :)

Day 1.

Welcome to my blog page!
Join me... on my journey through life as a teenage girl!
I'm not your average teenage girl...
I hate shopping, I'm not into fashion.
I love jeans, hoody's and thongs (flip flops) :)
I started high school this year, and the first semester has been interesting...
Lots of homework, assignments, exams! Its all very stressful. Friends have seriously changed. Everyone goes and hangs out with different people. I know that for me, you feel like you have been abandoned. One thing to remember... is that there are people who are feeling the same way. to tell you the truth, everyone feels that way. Don't leave it till latter, find the people who make you happy... and hang out with them! When ever you feel sad, remember that you really will work it out. As hard as it seems it does work out! Ask for God's help, eventually he will answer! Soemtimes it might be straight away but for others it could be a while. He will, just ask:)
Thats all for today!
Hope you will join me on my journey as a teenage girl!
